DOMESTIC ELECTRICAL TESTING SERVICES
Electrical testing, also known as PAT testing, examines various electrical appliances such as fridges, kettles, computers or anything connected to the mains electricity for hazards or vulnerabilities. If a system does not meet IEE regulations, it is deemed unsafe to use and should be addressed to prevent potential accidents.
At Ubitec Electrical, we take electrical safety very seriously because we understand the dangers of an unsafe appliance. That’s why we offer domestic electrical testing to examine the strength, integrity, and compliance with IEE regulations on a range of different systems. For electrical installations, we also offer a domestic fixed wire testing service to inspect low-voltage systems in the property, such as plug sockets, panels and distribution boards. When carrying out this service, we aim to look for any hazards or overloads that may pose a risk to occupants within the property.
When you choose us, all of your electrical systems will be inspected and tested for strength, damage, wear, tear, integrity, corrosion, excessive electrical loading, ageing, environmental influences, and most importantly, compliance with the BS7671: 2008 18th addition as amended.
Periodic Inspection and Testing
Periodic inspection and testing is an examination conducted by one of our qualified domestic electricians to identify any hazards, deficiencies or faults that could be a danger to individuals in the property. This inspection involves a thorough investigation of all electrical equipment, such as circuits and wiring to ensure they conform to the national safety standard for electrical installations, and any discrepancies from this standard are promptly addressed to prevent potential accidents or damage.
Emergency Lighting Testing
Our team of experienced professionals can carry out routine inspections and maintenance of your emergency lighting. We can also conduct in-depth checks of your lighting system, examining every detail to ensure that it meets the rigorous safety and performance standards of the BS 5266 requirements. Checking your emergency lighting is an important procedure, as faults in the system could result in accidents in an event of a fire or power cut.
Fire Alarm Testing
To ensure comprehensive protection and compliance with national safety standards, we conduct a thorough inspection that fully complies with the rigorous requirements set out in BS5839. Our domestic electrical testing team will examine and test every aspect of your fire safety system, including detection, alarm, and suppression systems, emergency lighting, and more, to ensure that they are operating optimally.
